I had lost hope for my Viking Designer 1 after I'd taken it to the AA Sewing Center and was told the touch screen was bad and they didn't make the part any longer. However, after asking on the FB group for Husqvarna owners, someone told me the Sewing Machine Guy could fix it. I went to the website and lo and behold, there was the part. About $50 and $175 to have the work done locally and I'm back in business! These are great sewing machines and it's awful to think it would have no life left due to a little part! I hope I can always get replacement parts from the Sewing Machine Guy. Saved me thousands because I'm no longer shopping for a replacement! Thank you!!
