Designer I Touch Screen

Knew what part was needed, shipped fast, reasonably priced and now my machine works again!

Touch screen works great for my designer 1.

When I bought my Husqvarna Viking Designer 1 the seller told me that the machine had a number of problems that had to be solved.

It was a challenge to fix the problems because it was an interesting sewing machine and it would be sad if it were scrapped or destroyed for spare parts.

Must serious problem was the Touch Screen not working.
But thanks to ”Sewing Machine Repair Guy” I found a new touchscreen with the same connection, that I ordered.
After installing the new touchscreen the serious problem was solved!
Whiteout a working touchscreen the machine are useless.

Another problem was the Reverse Feed button didn’t work.
It was solved with ButtonWorx for Designer 1 ordered from ButtonWorx.com
After installing ButtonWorx not only Revers Feed button but also Fix button and Stop button worked better.
The ButtonWorx that I ordered was specially designed for the Designer 1 sewing machine.

Disturbing noise from the Bubbin area.
Had to do an extensive cleaning of the Bobbin area as there was a lot of dirt there.
After cleaning, the annoying noise from the Bobbin disappeared.

Another serious problem was the burnt smell from the machine when it was powered on.
It was discovered that the smell was coming from the power cable connections on the machine.
The connections on the power unit board had to be solder again because they had been broken loose.
